I might be older than you, judging from the photo. There's no dust on my games, and that's not due special cleaning, but just because I play them - you must have doubts on this 'cause I don't post highscores, but rest sure.Randorama wrote:You also need some boole cure, i see. Trust me! Georgie B. wrote excellent fairy tales! Maybe you'll stop asking for fairy-telling in Gradius! Or perhaps you'll grow up beyond 5 and stop being proud of the dust on your collection!
Yeah, story-telling at its finest.Turrican wrote:[
The only "pride" I get from my games is the physical ability to actually play them on the real hardware.
Gemant has my replays. You should ask about those and get a good grasp about what you are talking. What are you doing here is the typical slimy, disgusting, repulsive italian delation - accusing someone of the gossips to be true when facts (again...) say otherwise. Not only is off-topic, it is also a proof of your ignomigny. You are taking seriously a demented individual who, at 30+, goes on forums to troll people because they don't recognize him as the alpha male of neogeo. But please, continue...(and hey, at least my scores aren't inflated like someone at emuita told me about yours)
And oh so many others, "proud collector!". Should i really explain you why?You were right on one thing, though
At least I buy on something - you accuse me of not being a player with no evidence whatsoever. I wonder why. Not to mention the collection thread - I'm guilty to have started it. This is rather paranoid.Randorama wrote:You buy gossip, i see. Do you want some replays? Those persons actually have seen those but then go around lying. But ehi, you like fairy tales, so why should you stick to facts? Maybe the memory cards, so you can check inflations. Pretty disgusting, delation and lies. Beside that, you take seriously to people that spend their time trolling on forum (need to give you a link on their latest efforts?) while being over 30. Not surprising in the least!
"Ehi, that guy is a communist! Vote me instead, i don't steal!" At least they buy on something! Brilliant! Oh, and the thread is by you. Sorry but there are specific psychological processes behind the collection fetish. But that's another issue.Turrican wrote:

Recap has been banned, and you dared to use the worst possible argument ever, completely out of topic. And this because i invoked some bit of sanity in a rather dumb topic. There's a limit to patience one can have, and if people start saying gibberish comments about games because they can't distinguish between rubbish and what they dislike, there's something seriously flawed going on.I'm sure you're a very skilled player - it's too bad that you're so full of yourself that you're only second to Recap around here.

(indeed! that makes you number one)Recap has been banned
I wasn't defending their reasons to label a game "worst" - I just thought it was arrogant of you to just come, set what scientifically defines "worst" and then call people "n00bs".and you dared to use the worst possible argument ever, completely out of topic. Annoyed comments presuppose for a remark to be obvious, bitching about an obvious remark denotes stubborness and any lack to be socially cooperative. Or, simply put, trolling. And you're defending the right for people to troll.
what's the purpose to win a quarrel on the net, come on. Perhaps I just misunderstood what he was trying to say?Neon wrote:mischaracterizing people's statements to win an argument is so lame.
And beside that, "worst" must presuppose "badly realized". In order to judge a game "badly realized", one has to have a clue on how a game works. Can't see many posters here with such a clue, including some people that should have been immune from n00bism...
I think Fuzzy Shooting is a fine game that has no place in a thread like this. Sure, there's a few things you can say against it, but the game's too much fun to truly suck, IMO. So what if I get Game Over in under a minute, now and then, it's such a short game that it has to be that hard to be worth it. Nothing cheap or unfair about it, except maybe getting rammed at the edge of the screen, but it only takes once to learn that risk.Icarus wrote:I've already said Fuzzy Shooting, and that one is so bad its good.
I've been reading the forum long before I signed up, and delayed the latter action mostly because of e-mail troubles with this board particularily (I was told you've had some problem with spammers?) but I admit I mostly read strategy and highscores threads, so I'm not privy to this board's particular history of internet drama. But I've been online long enough to know it's mostly the same everywhere. Every internet bully is just like the last internet bully and they're all collectively not much more of a bully than the bully back in highschool. I'm not concerned with antagonizing the intellectual alpha male of the boards.BulletMagnet wrote:Proof positive that you're new around here, heh heh.Helm wrote:Does this forum really suffer so much from hurt feelings over people not loving the same things all the time?
Check the "Worst Threads Ever" thread in the Off-Topic section if you're feeling brave...or foolhardy, heh heh.Helm wrote:I admit I mostly read strategy and highscores threads, so I'm not privy to this board's particular history of internet drama.
Heh, thanks. I actually used to change my av pretty regularly, but Twitchin' Sal proved a lot more popular than I expected, so he's been around for awhile now.I noticed the animation in your avatar and I find it great, by the way!

So next time a topic like this comes up we can just mention that one shmup and be done with.
And no, I'm not going to put recognized good shmups like Gunbird or Psyvariar 2, that some people mentioned out of spite, up for vote - true bad shmups only, as recognized by the collective subjectivity of every gamer.
Exactly. Think bad 2600 game and you have the picture. I would like to point out here that there were many good games for the TRS-80 Color Computer. Sadly this was not one of them.Alpolio wrote:Damn. OMG! Your talking about the CoCo. For a while there, I thought that you were talking about Radio Shack's old business line of Z80 machines. I kept thinking, "WTF? Why would anyone try to do that???" lol!doctorx0079 wrote:Exactly. Think bad 2600 game and you have the picture.
