Garegga shirt is go for launch!

Post by gunbird18 »

Hey there,

Okay kids! Sorry to scare you with the possible two week wait! THE SHIRTS ARE FINISHED!!!!!!

Here are some pics:

Hope you likey! The shop did a really good job on the prints. They "painted" them a couple times over so the ink is very solid and should last through a ton of washings. I am impressed with the quality so I would really like to do this again in a month or so with another game title. I am looking at Viper Phase 1 but I think we could do a really cool Batsugun logo! Go Toaplan!

Okay, I should be shipping out all of these this Friday. Keep your fingers crossed for me and I will update the thread Friday evening. Thanks for your patience!!!

Yay! I wondered about the whole Garegga business. I knew it was going to be a love/hate thing, but hopefully I can put together a really nice shirt! I just wish I could use Rib's big Raizing logo. That logo totally made the shirt!

Replace Raiden Fighters with Viper Phase 1 and you've got yourself a deal.

Garegga/Raizing is great, but something new would be more worthwhile in the short-term.

Why am I the only one to have voted Raiden Fighters :<

But $15 for an embroidered shirt sounds great!

Most definitely not (as far as you being alone in that sentiment goes).

Raiden Fighters for sure!

I already have four Raizing/8ing shirts (2 styles, one with a Garegga-theme).

Okay, I am having the shop try to clean up the logo on Garegga, so I should have some concrete information for the weekend. I also need to emphasize that this is still a silk-screened shirt, not embroidered! Embroidery is going to up the cost, probably more than you want to pay. :(

I really like Viper Phase 1, so that may be the next project. :D

But: 1) I need to get a good scan for the logo. So if anyone happens to have an instruction card?, a poster (heh), or a good screen capture (although that is going to be tricky to clean up), I would appreciate it!

2) I need to allow some time between shirt orders. Plus, I need to give rib some time to make his amazing shirts, and offer them to us.

I will keep you posted! Thanks!

I voted for Garegga
What more can I say I wouldn't be here today if the old school didn't pave the way.

I like Raizing better... :?

But yet I would still go for Garegga.

European Cut: L

US Cut: M

BTW, I think the Garegga would look better on Dark Grey. :o

Okay, orders are coming in! Thank you for your cooperation! I will try to get some info on shipping overseas for those of you across the ponds.

I think I am going to go ahead with the grey and navy shirts as well. There are quite a few requests for grey!

But I still need to get me some orders and then I can request the specific inks on the navy and grey shirts.

So, PLEASE, get the word out to some of the board members here and some of your local shmup fans and keep those orders coming! I think I will leave the order window open until next Friday, Aug 11th.

Thanks,

Getting close to the weekend! I don't want any shmups members to miss out on this shirt! Five more orders would be great!

I DO ACCEPT PAYPAL!

Just a reminder that the price is $15 for us in the states and $17 for XXL!

Thanks!
