I spotted some live streams of some of the stages from this yesterday on youtube. It's definitely looking a lot better than those early screen shots, but I can't help but imagine an alternate reality where this was an all-new game (Tatsujin 3) with a chip tune soundtrack by Yuge and pixel art by Akio Oyabu...

its very easy to find. Type Tatsujin Extreme and make sure "recently uploaded" is selected filter. Its literally the first hit.

It does look a little bit better; though I still dont like these as much as pixel art.

First stage is 8 minutes!

They could have tightened up the red caterpillars, instead of having 4 maybe reduce to 2 ?

Yeah, long stages don't do much for me either. I'd much rather have a very tightly designed experience that was 20 mins max for a 1CC.

I don't really care about long stages. Just as long as we get an epic final showdown with Dogurava akin to Mandler in Sol Cresta.

They just posted a clip of the soundtrack on X. It sounds lame, like it was done on the cheap. Manabu Namiki this definitely is not.

They've been posting further clips of the new OST (remixes of old tracks) over the week on X, and some of them sound better than the initial slop, with the Tatsujin Oh arrangements generally sounding better IMO.

I just had a horrible thought, what if they used Suno to make the soundtrack..

Nah, Masahiro Yuge has been out from the game music industry for almost 21 years now, and he commented he was glad to come back and compose music for this game, the old bgm was probably a placeholder.
Hope the music is being played by Uemura and the rest of the U-Brand band, that would be so neat.
