Fuck Brian that POS, I hope he's miserable and living a terrible life. A business failing is not something to be happy about but him just taking the money, constantly lying and then going dark just shows he's a scumbag. Fuck that dude. Brian if you ever read this, go fuck yourself, no one likes you.
Regret to inform you it appears in recent years he's been hired as City Connection's localization guy along with the other cofounder of Dispatch. No clue why, and no clue why that means CC can't just take over or hand this off to Clear River.

Saw it in the R-Type Music Encore credits with my own eyes.

So yeah, Brian Schorr is unfortunately, still in the game industry, still a con artist and seems content to just never ever confess that they oversold Soldam, had financial troubles, and then the Limprint boom was a gamble that failed them.
It’s amazing that no one has cancelled City Connection over this debacle. They have been a part owner of Dispatch and hired them all throughout this mess when they could have resolved it. Now these dingdongs have been working at City Connection West and Embracer is deeply involved with funding City Connection releases. :|

Yeah this is definitely changing how I think of City Connection. To coin UK politics, it's like appointing Peter Mandelson... again. Just, why. WHY.

I still think it's amazing that you can take people's money for a product, never deliver the product and then just walk away without legal consequences. Literally fucking stealing, lmao.

tbh I've maintained my hardon for Shitty Con - in the Roman Catholic sense - ever since the Success Tribute fiasco.

Told y'all they some bitches :O

I'm going to take a wild guess that he ended up owing City Connection a big stack of money, and they figured the only way they were ever going to see it again was to give him a job (this is based solely on personally seeing this happen at least 3-4 times elsewhere)

There's some thread on this board where I say this exact thing and was pounded with "you obviously don't know how business works" comments. So perhaps we're in post-late-stage capitalism where outright fraud is considered 'business' by a good portion of the population. Personally, if I give someone money for a product, I expect that someone to actually have the product they're accepting money for. But perhaps I'm an old fuddy-duddy.

No "perhaps" about it, loads of folks openly espouse this, so long as it's inflicted on someone they don't care for.
