Got the letter score tonight! Game overed to 1st phase of Glow Squid.
If I increase my risk tolerance in a couple of spots and learn scoring routes for the last 2 stages I'll be in the range of a C-D score (I've already had a couple of runs that were >9m going into stage 6) but for now I'm going to settle for this because it was driving me a bit mad. Time for a break

Letter score is a great milestone. I've always struggled with the Garegga ships, too. Congrats.

Thanks CStar! As someone that doesn't have experience scoring it was more difficult than I anticipated.

I really enjoy Wild Snail, while there are a few areas that are made more tricky due to his bomb and piercing shot, I find the need for increased precision really satisfying.

I've already begun some light practice again. This game is too fun to put down.

Stage 6 is a bit much... In another 20 years I hope to have the letter score and clear.
