There are by far not enough volumes left to get all games I'd want. How is the emulation anyway of the volumes released so far? Is it better than Mame or is there any reason at all to buy these, in terms of quality?

I wish they had just stayed with ACA instead. Or hired M2 to do this release.

I feel like they are fine. They have decent screen options, leaderboards for each version, cheat code modes, etc. All the stuff you would expect. M2 is still better, but these aren’t bad for the price.

But yeah I wish they would give us more. Kind of afraid the Beat Em Up volume is gonna be filled with Kung Fu. And we know we aren’t getting any R Types or Cosmo Cops.

Any word on Volume 4?

It is really sad , there are only about 11 entries on the leaderboards for the games in V3.

Would love to get a nice quality cotton t-shirt with a decent print of the IREM logo, and the little dragonfly motif 8)

Be nice to play Image Fight eventually without the harsh af cramped up screen (HuCard). X-Multiply I could never even afford in the past, look forward to that. What a company. SNES R-Type II when it sends you back to the start after stage one boss charges at you, kinda lol, imagine the outcry something like that in a game today :)

I assume there are separate leaderboards for each console on these collections?

I wonder what those who pre-ordered the bundle with all 5 volumes will say, lol

Don't worry about it. You can travel from the Milky Way to Andromeda and back 1500 times before the sun explodes.

I'm surprised Strictly Limited is still in business. I just checked and they still haven't shipped the two games I cancelled in 2023 (and I cancelled my order because they were taking too long...).

X-Multiply fucking rips. Probably the best R-Type clone ever. (Does it really count as an R-Type clone if it's made in house by IREM?)

Hmmm I’m partial to Pulstar myself. Although Blazing Star beats it by miles
