Looks like we may FINALLY get Metal Slug 8 and not some tower defense or turn-based strategy spin-off. I hope so. I mean, we got a new Contra game not too long ago, it’d make sense we get a new Metal Slug game too.

It's been awfully quiet about the spiritual successor Black Finger JET... Is it too much of a conspiracy to think they might be rebranding it to become Metal Slug 8?

I doubt they've canceled Black Finger JET in favor of Metal Slug 8. I look forward to both games.
