This my first post in this forum and I would like your help
I have been adjusting the geometry for Commodore 1702 and couldn't get the image in the center with V.POS pot.

It is as high as it goes but the whole image still need to be shifted up a little bit.
I’m aware I need to adjust v.stretch after that.
I have looked through the service manual, page 14(H. OSC, V. OSC & V. OUT CIRCUIT) it mentions that X401, D401, C408 might be shorted if the image appear below the center of CRT.

So replacing C408 make sense?
I want to check if I'm approaching to this problem correctly or I need to look somewhere else.
