Before I sound too negative; I really want to like this game. But skimming the walkthrough does not exactly fill me with confidence: walk, meet single enemy, shoot it, walk... really? Commodore 64 could do better than that.
And the walkthrough seems to take at least an hour. Hour of walking and shooting single enemy at time?

Definitely more to it than that, although you need to play on at least Hard and a lot of the fun is in the variety with the setpieces, stealth stage, bosses, etc. Generally there won't be tons of enemies on screen but there is a lot of shit to dodge especially in the future levels. The last level in particular took me a bit of time to clear on Hard, and then you also have several other modes. Don't get me wrong, this game is never going to touch Huntdown, but it's still a fun game and fulfills a gap for a good 2D Terminator game. If anything it's a spiritual sequel to the Sega CD game.

Was on the fence at first about it, but started really liking it on replaying it. Normal mode is just a slog here, hard is the legit difficulty mode. The Sega CD game looks better with less cartoony animation; music here holds its own even it's not on the same level as that game. Racing levels reminded me of one of those low-quality super-simple mobile games, should have reworked them or cut them out.
