There's a new Chamma-based pcb by the name of "Pandora Saga DX Plus" -- https://www.amazon.com/Pandoras-516-Ver ... =8-16&th=1 that requires a proper "Chamma to Jamma" adapter to "boot up/run properly" -- https://paradisearcadeshop.com/products ... system-hjs (typical with the previous Pandora manufactured Blue Elf based chamma-based pcbs of tate-based "King of Air 1" {with low-res 15.7kHz support} and "King of Air 2" {with high-res 31kHz support} with their assorted arcade stg collections).
Paradise Arcade Shop's own "Huliamahi" branded chamma to jamma adapter works like a charm as intended and is quite beefy with on-board various switches for certain specific settings if it needed be (in fact, it can be used as a "Jamma to Chamma" adapter at the flick of a switch for greater versatility/functionality -- how cool is that?).
You can enable 15.75kHz mode if you press & hold the tiny black-colored pot button until the internal green led located inside the Pandora game shell/case turns yellow upon initial power up with a standard jamma-based candy cab or supergun setup. There's a setting to switch from yoko to tate by pressing "Button B" for three seconds but I haven't been able to implement tate mode as of yet -- I'm not sure what screen setting or button configuration screen enables tate mode though.
There's a list of dedicated arcade stg titles on the Pandora Saga DX Plus pcb including:
Neo-Geo MVS Blazing Star, MVS IronClad, MVS Strikers 1945 Plus, MVS Pulstar
Capcom CPS2 stgs such as Capcom/Takumi's Mars Matrix, Capcom/Takumi's GigaWing, Capcom's 19XX: The War Against Destiny, Raizing/8ing's 1944: The Loop Master
Cave Co. Ltd.'s arcade stg titles of Donpachi, DoDonpachi, IGS/PGM based DoDonpachi II: Bee Storm, DoDonpachi Dai-Ou-Jou (White Label), Guwange, Dangun Feveron, ESPgaluda and Cave/Capcom's CPS2-based Progear No Arashi
Seibu Kaihatsu's Raiden
Technosoft's Thunder Force AC, Blast Wind
Taito's Gunlock, Metal Black, Darius Gaiden
Capcom's Hyper Dyne Sidearms, CPS1-based Wonders 3 with the cool stg title of "Chariots of the Midnight Sky"
Raizing/8ing's Armed Police Batrider, Sorcerer Striker, Kingdom Gran Prix, Battle Garegga, Battle Bakraid
Psikyo's Gunbird, Gunbird 2, Gunbarich, Saboten Bomber, Strikers 1945, Strikers 1945 II, Strikers 1945 III
Even Arika's "Tetris The GrandMaster" arcade puzzler is included as a bonus (considering that it goes for a lot of $$$ on the secondary collector's arcade pcb market nowadays)
----------
Both high scores & high score initials are saved for posterity upon being powered down for the night for all arcade game roms that support it via NVRAM -- which is a plus "in my book" (which is something new with the Pandora based chamma pcbs being released nowadays).
