I desperately want a HAS reco PCB but I can't find one anywhere.
I've got an astro city with a 6 button setup and a CPS-2 kick. I just need something where I can duplicate button 1 and add autofire to it, pretty simple and standard but I can't find an easy solution to this problem. I intend to hook it up to a Taito F3 board.
Anyone got any ideas? I've never really done soldering or anything like that before, so preferably something plug and play...
Update: found a HAS Reco thanks to a friend. I also found these neat little buttons with built in auto which are pretty ingenious: https://www.higenekodo.jp/shop/list.cgi ... 1602860504

Something like this would be easy enough to do with a bit of wire splicing and crimping and a breadboard, no soldering needed. Just splice in cables from your Button 1 to the breadboard, insert the parts correctly so the circuit and components are connected, and away you go. A hobby electronics shop like Sayal Electronics would have everything. Soldering it would make it more secure and prevent cables from popping out accidentally, but wouldn't be necessary.

It'd be through RGB's shop that you can buy a HAS Reco pcb: https://rgbslab.com/collections/products
Sign up with your email address and he'll let you know when his shop is fully stocked again to order the latest HAS Reco pcb -- I think it's at v4.1 or thereabouts. It's essentially a requirement/necessity within the arcade pcb hobby with candy cabs & superguns, especially with arcade stg pcbs as it truly saves "wear 'n' tear" on the ol' fingers indeed (if one is suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome issues like with System11 is dealing with currently).

Thanks yeah I've emailed him to see if there are plans to make more. Candy Cab Club made it sound like there won't be any for a very long time...PC Engine Fan X! wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 8:58 am It'd be through RGB's shop that you can buy a HAS Reco pcb: https://rgbslab.com/collections/products

Re: SOLVED: Autofre / Remapping options for Candy cab?
An unfortunate update.
While I got my RECO from a friend, Mike reached out and said he will not produce any more. As per his e-mail:
"Unfortunately, there is currently little interest in the RECO PCB, and the pre-order list does not justify producing another batch."
So if you still don't have one, you'll need to figure out another option.
