So when this released exactly 364 days ago and I got it a day early I had a mixed opinion due to all but two tracks being stuff I already had. A year later, スルメ曲バンド is スルメ曲バンド, as expected. I have developed quite a love for Gravity, and my love of Small world, Flare, and 木漏れ日と一緒に has only increased. I should have expected this after 20 years of BUMP, but there it is. I kind of like this album now. I definitely like it more than when I first got it.
It's nice to have the fixed version, as the original CDs were all defective, but the defective song was strawberry... when I heard the new album-exclusive intro for Sleep Walking Orchestra, I thought "cool, a new intro. Can't wait for them to NOT do it live" and then of course they didn't. Then when I got to strawberry and found that they'd done the opposite and cut the little tiny intro from that, I thought "that's odd... but they're going to do the intro live anyway because they almost always do single versions and not album versions... OMG WTF HAPPENED TO THE AUDIO ON THIS SONG" and then of course they had the little intro during Sphery Rendezvous. Speaking of Sphery Rendezvous, where the hell is the BD for that? It still hasn't been announced. They also said that one of the two new songs on here (青の朔日, and 朔日 is さくじつ, not ついたち) got licensed for something, and it's been a year and whatever that thing is still hasn't been announced. I wonder what it is.
Otherwise, the Homesick Eisei 2024 final BD in this thing is now preciously valuable, as many people now want it but can't find it because the LE is sold out. It still feels like Homesick Eisei never ended.
