Hoagtech wrote: Tue Aug 12, 2025 6:40 pmI speak about a single issue and you turn it into "support of the administration" instead of debating why the CPI is not a good indicator of economic policy.
Several other people, immediately after your original post, challenged your focus on the CPI, and you dismissed them and their arguments out of hand as demented libtards. Get right the fuck out of here with that shit, especially as you're clearly infinitely more interested in hashing out the dog-killing issue than anything concerning the economy (like, say, the fact that the replacement for the official who dared present numbers Daddy didn't like is a Project 2025 crank who's promised to suspend monthly job reports until they're "fixed").

By the by, please tell me exactly how I was supposed to interpret the absolutely insane parroting of the notion that tariffs are actually not tariffs (which, by the by, aren't doing jack shit for the nation's coffers) except as the sound of your lips slobbering all over this administration's jackboots? Especially when, once again, I outright ask you to clarify your positions on other issues and you indignantly refuse to answer? You pussies truly haven't changed a bit this whole fucking time. For all your lip you still won't actually own up to jack shit.
Calling people who almost got killed by a violent mob pussy ass shows your colors BM.
First things first the "violent mob" was two fifteen-year-olds, one girl and one boy, but seeing as we live in a world where asking an ICE thug to show a warrant or a badge is "assault" I ought to just accept that we've reached Peak Pussy and point and laugh accordingly.

Second, seeing as "mob violence" concerns you so much, I'd absolutely love to see your "colors" when it comes to the January 6th riots (and Daddy's subsequent mass pardons). Though I'm obviously not holding my breath.

In any event, I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm glad the incident happened or even that it should have happened, but since it did happen it might as well have arrived at the doorstep of a big enough shitstain to so much as entertain the idea of joining a straight-up criminal enterprise like DOGE. Though your fellow fash obviously have other ideas.

Back at the ranch, since apparently being transferred to a Club Fed she wasn't even legally supposed to be eligible for considering her crimes wasn't enough, Ghislaine Maxwell is now also on work release. Because this is what "tough on crime" and "protecting the children" looks like.

Oh, and the administration is now asking the Supreme Court to give its official blessing to racial profiling, so that you can now instantly lose every last one of your rights, with no opportunity to argue in your own defense, because some brownshirt decided you looked wrong, talked wrong, or were in the wrong place.

OH, and that OTHER thing which we were all fearmongering about and would never actually happen!

But, y'know, that's just a lot of hysterical whatevs.

I think the saddest thing is that he still thinks we are saying these things to him because of money.

Think about who you're arguing against. The "libs" or whatever "othering" label that you're using right now are not the poor and disenfranchised as a group. They are the college educated and gainfully employed. They are not the ones who are going to be most fucked by everything that's happening right now, as much as you hate them and want that to be the case. The people getting hurt are the people on the fringes. The people on food stamps and the people who are running away from a violent country or the homeless people under the bridge. The whole country used to pitch in a few bucks a year to save the occasional homeless person or feed a guy who lost his job.

But then open your wallet and look inside. Is that so important. We're all going to die anyway man. What do you think makes you so special that you value your greed over a fraction of a meal?

100% the people he hates are the poor and those on the fringes.

You know how the fascists hate crippled and disabled people? It's just how their brains work. They hate being reminded that they are mortal.

The symbol-minded need to exterminate any reminders of such things. To keep the sad thoughts away.

Don't try to humanize fascists and project your own value systems on them. Any mind can have any terminal goals, and there's no reason to want prosperity and happiness for human beings. Many really are just death cultists.

Many a boomer facing the end of their days has the attitude of 'fuck you brats, I'm taking you with me!' Cruelty makes them feel good, it's how they're wired. If you're not a victimizer, you're the victim and who wants to be a victim.

No amount of is-statements can put any traction against an ought-statement. It's why all 'conversations' with fascists aren't conversations at all, because no shared context on anything related to goals or how the world ought to be can be established.

Once again, every jubilee video.

If he's ever going to leave the cult it'll require developing at least some basic sense of self-preservation. It doesn't require a single drop of empathy to not want to die when some poor person coughs on you, just two braincells to rub together. If you like at least yourself, you want universal healthcare. Nobody in their right mind wants to waddle through hordes of sick diseased people.

But once again, that requires acknowledgment that oneself is a mortal human being, and not some immortal impervious god that is immune to disease. And so it goes with every other subject. Narcissists are incapable of having such a lowly opinion of themselves, that they are bound to the same physical limitations that everyone else is.

I thought about this recently a lot. I'm pretty convinced that the Boomers are deeply hurt that they didn't get the version of the future that they imagined for themselves.

That's why Bill Maher exists. He's mad because "Comic books are for kids," and he wasn't supposed to like them as an adult. But that's his whole shtick; the kids don't know what this all was supposed to look like.

They're throwing temper tantrums because it doesn't look like the "country they fought for" anymore. But it was never going to. And really, they have no one to blame but themselves. It wasn't "the kids" that screwed this pooch, it was them.

That's the absolute worst kind of tantrum, the one that comes from knowing it's your own damn fault.

Part of the problem is religion; the sort of folk who refuse to even consider leaving the world a better place are often the ones who are looking eagerly towards Heaven as a literal construct they are entitled to. Anything bad that should befall the world due to their own selfishness and wanton disregard for the environment and the state of society after they're gone doesn't matter as it's simply "God's Plan" ™ at work. Who cares how badly the world's screwed up if it's only heathen unbelievers who have to put up with it because God's going to rapture away his chosen flock?

They also love to ignore the fact a lot of them would, according to their own holy books, be more likely to burn in hell for all the hypocritical shit they pull.

There is some cold comfort that the isekai boltzmann brain thing is far more likely how it works than Reagan's Heaven. Being turned into a fish person is way more extreme than being trans, and given an eternity one's brain must inevitably change under the burden of novel inputs.

Yeah, I mean, I agree that it's a problem, but they clearly need some sort of guidance. The issue is that our tax laws incentivized con men to "take up the cloth." If there wasn't a huge cash boon to evangelism, it would die out. But at this point, the con man government is milking the cow, so I don't think there's any way to claw it back in the short term.

No, I think we're done. This version of North America is locked in place until things get bad enough, for long enough, to get violent. Eventually, the con men at the top will start eating each other and there will be room for movement. I seriously doubt it's going to happen in any of our lifetimes though.

You just don't quit. You are the worst projectionist here actually. How is my portfolio being successful make me a poor person hater? Just tell me you can't debate and would rather call names instead. And now you can barely reference me directly. What is this "he" bullshit? I reference the CPI and now I'm Voldemort?

You know what makes people poor? Lack of government resources and a failing economy. A failed education system doesn't help either. I personally think we should give up on the 4 year college system on go towards a job qualification Duo Lingo style crash course.

We can't afford shit like a working universal healthcare startup because we pay more and more interest due to our national debt and fix it by spending more and more debt (Net Interest) . We put a band aid on The Great Depression and have been playing the same debt tactic ever since. Damn you John Maynard Keynes.

But like Communism. Keynesian spending (could) work if the Mandatory Spending involved more cost effective planning. And our Discretionary Spending was targeted towards building towards the future wellbeing.

But instead we had "Build Back Better" which spent 2.2 trillion (massive budget for two main topics) and spent it on Climate Change and Prescription drug costs. Lets look and see what was accomplished. Prescription costs went up 22% WTF?! isn't the opposite of the desired outcome? Well at least we invested the energy grid right? right?! The LED rebates were cool at least.

And Trump is not a Fiscal Conservative. This is one thing I don't prefer in my own business model but I do think Shoring Manufacturing, Energy, Mining, Water, Crop Insurance, and Oil and Gas leases are probably gonna be a bigger bang for our buck for the 3.4 trillion Federal Debt, and hopefully, (but probably not) leaves a cash making premise that can one day be spent towards our Budget Deficit

So if you want to help poor people. You can hope for an economical economy to be able to afford it. Otherwise you end up like Mozambique, One of the poorest, disease ridden per capita countries in the world with "UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE" which can only afford a Can opener in their hospital tent to perform major surgeries from Youtube Scholar doctors.

I'll end it by celebrating highest point in SP500 History hitting 6400 today.

So back to your cum covered keyboards and trendy virtue topics that make you feel superior when you turn 40 and you have nothing to show for it but a bumper sticker and a cape

Sincerely

-Voldemort

Were the whole lot of them going to pile into the car circus clown style if they'd managed to steal it? Even if you think his story adds up (and/or that ghouls illegally snatching lifesaving aid away from millions don't deserve worse than he got), it's still an utterly asinine excuse for Daddy to declare an "emergency" and take over D.C. by force, while threatening to do the same elsewhere (though his authority to do so outside of D.C. would be even weaker).

As for the rest of your post, if you truly think that most of the exploding Trump deficit is going towards anything but tax breaks for the wealthiest and aren't just taking the piss, maybe you are just that much of a fucking moron. Albeit still a fascist pussy.

Strange, I thought the Republicans were all for "limited government" i.e. only the government that they like. I mean, your comments like this have clearly demonstrated that you have zero clue about the economy:

"I don’t know what to tell you. Biden made it expensive and now you guys are bitching about it because your party is no longer office and the rose colored glasses hit the pavement."

Weird thing to lay at Biden's doorstep specifically given he had just inherited a USA reeling from the Trump administration and its mishandling of COVID-19. Especially given weird we have data showing that Republican governance consistently over the past 3 decades has lead to economic decline each time. Every time Republicans get elected their constituents are effectively shooting themselves and their economies in the foot.

Just look at which side of the political spectrum has embraced the AI techbro culture lately. It's always been shitty, shallow, unethical profiteering, the kind of thing American conservatives seem to lap up delightedly.
We can't afford shit like a working universal healthcare startup
America was one of the most powerful, rich, and influential countries in the world. Trump's second term has almost totally destroyed that of course, but before then part of the point of making healthcare into a single payer system is that the government is able to negotiate and control prices so that they're wildly more affordable than what America currently pays. Like, do you realize how absurdly inflated your prices for healthcare and medicine are under your for-profit systems? There are dozens of countries around the world that manage to operate socialized medicine systems that do no operate as for-profits under the control of corporations, the claim that America hasn't done it because it "can't afford shit" strikes me as a sign you are wildly unimaginative.

The reason you think it's not affordable is because the politicians who get kickbacks from healthcare and insurance corpos tell you it's not, so they can keep getting rich off their donors.

We can't afford interracial marriage or letting women vote either, apparently. Wealthiest empire in the history of the world. Just can't afford it.

Instrumentality can't come soon enough.

your party

Incredible. Half of us here are against the pedophile/bank/military industrial complex. Which naturally means hating both of the pedophile/bank/military industrial complex parties.

It takes an absolute lifetime of having horseshit poured into your ear to think anyone without a lanyard, a six figure+ salary, and a fetish for getting kicked in the balls loves the corporate democrats. It's an absolutely deranged fiction.

Just imagine thinking Citigroup being in charge of the world is better than Goldman Sachs being in charge. Just imagine being that person.

The goal of these religions isn't really to make you believe in Noah's ark or god or any of that. It's to make you believe reality itself is false.
Once they control your mind it's easy to tell you who you should vote for.

Republicans really don't understand anything other than blind adherence and party loyalty. Most of the people who vote Democrat straight-up hated both Clinton and Biden compared to the people who could've had a shot at overturning party establishment (see: Bernie Sanders) but were basically sabotaged by establishment Democrats. But Clinton and Biden were the far lesser of two evils in their respective elections. Obama is arguably the last presidential candidate liberal voters were actually sincerely enthusiastic about.

People aren't voting Democrat because they literally love and worship the people the Democrats are fronting by any means, they just support their party platform far more than the absolute shitshow the Republicans insist on dragging the country towards.

Plurality elections suck and are part of the reason we're all finding it next to impossible to escape this mess. Literally among the worst ways of electing a candidate possible.

Ah, that's true. I keep forgetting how married they are to authoritarianism and being a slave to a king, it's so anathema to my own mode of thinking.

I still don't think anything less than sortition would have made much of a difference, and even then am skeptical. What would your average person do when a giant sack of money they'd never make in ten lifetimes is plopped in front of their face? We'd probably still be exactly where we are.

The republicans are right about it all being cultural. The internet is the only counter-organizing tool we have against the monoculture of TV, that took over people's brains after local newsletters were crushed.

It's crazy to think that Kansas of all places was the heart of socialism in the past..

That's the wrong way to engage that question. The shithead you replied to proved a low IQ already: by posting a graph and numbers earlier. Nobody that understands numbers would say a word about health care affordability. Small wonder that one posted that useless CPI.

The United States already pays multiple times more than the next western nation for health care with worse outcomes.

Affordability isn't a problem, because the US already spends it. Furthermore, universal health care is proven to deliver better results for less money.

The shitface is trying to tell you that America can't afford a cheaper health care system. The same shithead that was trying to get me to take numbers seriously earlier.

Regardless, we don't engage the tired "affordability" argument with anything but numbers. America is spending more for less and it's been going on for a long time. A smart Republican wouldn't bring it up at all, because the subject is a foot gun for people that don't want reform.

I don't need to go any further than the spreadsheet. Anyone that argues is stupid and can't do math. Maybe Republicans shouldn't post numbers.
We apologise for the inconvenience
