Why not a shmups.com shirt?

So...why not? With all these shmup maker shirts today, why not have one for the site that promotes them? Hell, I'm sure a lot of people would buy one on principle alone.

I'm down. Maybe we should redesign the logo first. Or am I being too negative. I'm down. I can predict we won't settle on what picture could be on it 50% wants the iky ship the other 50% want the BG ships.
So let's forget about those things and have something on there nobody can front on, like....indeed just the logo.
Let's not let this thread get out of hand. I think the mods should decide. I place it into their creative hands. Maybe embrioded, something nice, I'm thinking a nice casual polo shirt.
The price should be so that the mods get theirs free.
Maybe the mods can strike a deal with SAM?

Not only that, but unlike the shmup-specific shirts I tried to do months ago (which CafePress didn't allow due to copyright), we could do it on CafePress or something like that.

If a tshirt came out that had the shmups logo on it with an assortment of the devs logo's (look at the sheeps site for an example of what I mean) I think that would be awesome.

I'd buy Shmups shirt. A Hat would be even better because I'm looking for a hat that I like to wear, and why not represent my favorite genre with it?

Another thing I thought of is that it would be a nice way for us to support Shmups.com -> Malc could take the design & do a line of CafePress stuff with it, & we could all buy as we have funds. The money could go to pay hosting costs for both the forum & the shmups.com domain itself. I would probably go for both a shirt & a hat. Even more than that, we could have non-copyrighted stuff that references shmup culture, such as the "full extent of the jam" or "be attitude for gains" or even "Just a couple more shots!" That would be cool.

I think everybody is waiting for somebody to do some sort of design thing. a t-shirt with the logo or whatever. I guess none of the previous posters felt compelled to do it, who we gonna call?

Yeah, someone with some know-how should step in here for the cause! I would if I knew how the heck to produce quality stuff....I think that we have all proven with the past shmup shirt sales by members of this forum that there is a good amount of interest when these items come up. I don't think that it would be a risk or anything like that--especially since we always pre-pay...

Actually I don't go out at all, but a url on a shirt, will make it look cheap and nerdy, like they gave it away at a Bill Gates autograph signing.

Let's get the damn logo on a shirt and call it a day before this runs out of hand (again) I don't see those raizing 8ing shirt guys in this thread at all. They already got their shirt, which are all fake bootlegged and illegal shirts since the logo is trademarked anyway

Do we even have some kind of permission from the owner of the logo/site at all?

I could make the shirts or do them on my CafePress account, that would be no problem. I just want to make sure whoever designed the logo is properly credited. Was that Twitch (or does memory not serve ATM)?
