I picked up a loose Taito Egret II Mini (Western Version) for 40€, not powering on. Even if I don‘t get it to work, it‘s a great decoration next to my Japanese Mini, and my real Egret II
Tested a couple of power supplies which all work with my other Mini, then took it apart for a closer look.
The only thing i found was one missing smd part labeled „PB“, but what is it, and could this be the whole problem?
As soon as I switch it on, the shield gets hot and that‘s all what happens.
