Still learning the ropes. Neat how they brought back the second loop (that relic of a bygone era), but then completely betray series tradition by encouraging you to grab all the teacups during bonus rounds. That took a bit of adjustment.

Haven't done any runs as the food inspector yet, I'm not even sure what differences exist between characters besides shot type. An investigation is underway.

Nice, thanks for making this! Lord knows how long I have to wait for a steam port so I might just have to cop this on Switch to enjoy it. Nice to see the caravan modes are back.

Yeah good call, especially since the Steam release of the first Reboot was iffy, from what I remember. Obviously this was a day one purchase for me, well worth the hassle of setting up a J-PSN account.

I somehow went from zero extra lives to five during stage 2-1? No clue how it happened, and I wasn't recording since I wasn't on my main account. (EDIT: I've since learned that you get five extends from hitting 8 billion?! Seems overly generous, has to be a bug.) Would've cleared too, but I got cocky and went into the final boss with no magic in stock...

EDIT#2: Caravan mode's dope enough, lets do a few runs of that, shall we?

So yeah, really loving the adjustments in this update. Especially them toning down the stage 3 boss' missile attack during Overtension, means I can actually see the end of loop two during score runs.

Not as huge an increase as I was hoping for, due to bungling some of the boss setups, also playing it way too safe on loop two (only to end the game with 9 lives lmao.) Burning the bosses up with Green lvl4 seems to be the way to go, pretty much every time? I only opt for the "cash out" strategy around 34:45, it doesn't seem possible to activate OT there.

In any event, top score is 30 billion on PSN, so back to the lab we go. : )

EDIT #2: Somehow didn't miss the Willoboros setup in loop 1 this time. Also trying to figure out the perfect way to milk the final boss, having a practice mode sure would've been nice... as it is, we're forced to learn on the fly.

A few small mishaps prevented me from taking top spot on PSN's leaderboard, but at least I was able to execute most of the gameplan to my satisfaction. That initial stage 6 boss setup continues to confound me... once I get that consistent, then we can begin experimenting. Strategy-wise there's probably not much left to discover, far as the first half of each loop goes. The later bosses still feel suboptimal, might do some runs just to figure out proper milking techniques.
