A translation of the page says that it comes with a conversion board for mounting on a NES (not sure if this means a toaster NES) and Twin Famicom.

edit: Page says NEW NES, but the NEW was partially cut off. It's probably referring to either the NEW Famicom or the later model NES.

edit: Translator changed some instances of Famicom to NES, so it's definitely referring to the AV/NEW Famicom, not the model 2 NES.

Fun game, managed to beat this one recently. It's quite tricky through, the really thin shot makes it hard to pin down waves of enemies at times and the bosses are no joke, particularly the Stage 5 boss who I think is the toughest in the game along.

Didn't realize that Over Obj is a modern day danmaku stg title that really pushes the hardware limits with the FC/NES hardware indeed.
There's some cute references to other shmups too, the TLB gives a firm nod to Dodonpachi as well as Judgement Silversword!

I'm kind of stunned I never could find a copy and thats well over a year since it was released.

I assume its long out of print and basically impossible to get now?

I see this: https://www.kadenken.com/view/item/000000001596
but it comes with many caveats, so I wonder if middleman services get blocked here, assuming its available at all.

Yes, unfortunately it seems like it was a really short-lived print run and with no apparent digital releases available it's become rather difficult for anyone interested to obtain a legitimate copy of the game. :(

The NES ports of Over Ob J sold through Neodolphino Productions was a limited stint as well back in 2024 -- it, too, is currently "all sold out." You could try contacting NP & see if the guy/owner plans to do another batch of Over Ob J to sell.
