Will Motoaki Furukawa's "Steam Pilots" ever see the light of day?
Will Motoaki Furukawa's "Steam Pilots" ever see the light of day?
I hope it does. I heard it's facing a lawsuit or something like that. But the game looks very good. I want it to happen.

i highly doubt it, but do check out Bounty Sisters instead, which is made by the creative team behind steam pilots (sans furukawa)

I still want Steam Pilots to happen. That lawsuit needs to be settled once and for all. I mean, they even got Mariko Kouda to do the theme song and voice the heroine...

I doubt the lawsuit will settle because from all accounts, Furukawa is a cunt who has burned bridges with everyone he's ever worked with. These people making the Bounty Sisters game are using the leftover assets they salvaged from Steam Pilots.

Got any sources on Furukawa's tendency to burn bridges for someone who's out of the loop?
Re: Will Motoaki Furukawa's "Steam Pilots" ever see the light of day?
I didn't know he did things like that.

It's hard to make them work, and those succeeded. Steam Pilots looks like it doesn't.xEbb1993x wrote: ↑Mon Jul 21, 2025 9:16 pmMaybe Mars Matrix and Giga Wing made them popular?ChurchOfSolipsism wrote: ↑Mon Jul 21, 2025 1:22 pm Sigh... why do people still make vertizontals, I just don't get it

Give Devil Blade Reboot a try.

We here shall not rest until we have made a drawing-room of your shaft, and if you do not all finally go down to your doom in patent-leather shoes, then you shall not go at all.
