Just tried 1 Loop Custom Mode from the M2 Shottriggers (everything else set it on Arcade Difficulty)

Switch - Hishou Same Same Same (Flying Shark)
Vinh Loc - 2,648,700 - ALL - No - Sudachi on Xiaomi 15

In fact there is an autofire button, but i only used it against large enemy and boss because it locked at 30hz and can't changed like in Mame

Hi Sho Zame (JP)

Played on the M2 Shittrigers port that has 30hz autofire only. M2's good at triggering me with shit options ports. Great game otherwise ! Happy to have cleared it, it took me like 4 hours just doing full runs. Might go for the second loop one of these days :P

It has 10, 12, 15, 20, 30, and a separate 30 synchronized. Not that it really matters because 5 or 6 with a separate 30 is what you really should use, along with maybe a manual shot button for certain cases. I use 6 on my PCB because that's what my autofire device has and I think 5 is better because it leaves less gaps.

Highlight regular shot button and press square. This doesn't work on 30Hz synchro buttons, so it has to be on a regular shot button. I have no idea why there is a 30Hz and also a separate 30Hz synchronized button or if there is a difference, BTW, but I do know that you need the special synchronized button to use the flamethrower in Same! Same! Same!, so there's basically no point in using the regular 30Hz option instead of the synchronized button for that game.

If it makes you feel any better, Mikado had the game in its Toaplan Museum a few months ago configured with only a 30Hz auto button and a bomb button, and there was no regular shot button at all and you had to tap the 30Hz button quickly to get single shots, but most of the time it ended up shooting two shots when I tried it. I kind of see the logic of such a configuration, but it was totally miserable to actually play on.
