Lilac 0 Steam Demo
Lilac 0 Steam Demo
Demo released for Lilac 0. New shoot em up on Steam. Put an hour or so in to the game which covers the first stage. It has caught my attention and is one of my most anticipated titles along with Rainchaser.

Re: Lilac 0 Steam Demo
The Lilac 0 demo on Steam is a mere 77.5mb d/l and boots just fine on a Steam Deck setup without the need for a Proton booter necessary.
The appearance of a low-res CRT-like shader with curved corners and vertical scanlines automatically applied as well gives this Lilac 0 stg demo an unmistakeble aesthethical vibe like those old-school Psikyo arcade stgs from years past despite not having a tate option (as of yet) but still impressive nevertheless in yoko mode -- yes, it's that good! Hot Damn!
Plus, if you score high enough to place in the Top 20 High Score list, you can input up to 8 characters maximum -- how cool is that?

Gave this a shot earlier today, it's really pretty. The pixel art is meticulously done, and the dash/melee mechanic helps set up some really amazing moments. I'll be keeping an eye out for this one.

I would also recommend people listen to the soundtrack
It's been on YT for a while, supposedly complete
Pretty driving with a kind of 16bit grrr brrr megadrive wanna be sound. Or is it more of an SNES sound...?

Yo this one is fucking great so far. Lock on and dash aren't usually mechanics I am into, but it's really fun here.
You're sure to be in a fine haze about now, but don't think too hard about all of this. Just go out and kill a few beasts. It's for your own good. You know, it's just what hunters do! You'll get used to it.

Re: Lilac 0 Steam Demo
Some silly stuff going on with this game, if you know you know. But that aside, my only complaint is that it's a bit slow/boring at times. It takes the final boss to truly shake things up, but he shakes it up pretty good. Is it bad tho? No, it's pretty good, I just don't think I can give it more than "pretty good" until the last stage. Game could be summarized as kamui/clover with a dash on top, but i do like the dash a lot.
Re: Lilac 0 Steam Demo
Game seems cool, but has a ton of input lag on my pc, anyone else have this problem or know what might be causing it? Don't see an option to disable v-sync, but even that shouldn't be causing this much lag.
