The backgrounds in the game are all rather bland, I think due to the fact that the lighting is very similar in most levels. Compare it to something like Under Defeat where the lighting in stages 3 to 5 are very, very different from stages 1 and 2, or various other 3D shmups that have really interest art design for their stages.

I've been calling these the penis shooters since I started playing this game, and my hubby always sighs, hahaha!

Fun fact: in Arcade Original, they are actually blue. In Arcade Unlimited... as you can see, they are... so very red, so very very vulgar, and... very damn annoying too!

I actually started this run just to get this screenshot when I saw this thread :p and this is the easy one to capture; there is a later part with about 5 of these and if you don't speed kill them fast enough the whole screen is... well, I leave it to you to imagine what it looks like with 4-5 of these shooting from every direction :P

(Edit again to say: I should call this Crimzon Wang. Also, if you really mess this up, it is possible for the laser to be at bottom of the screen shooting upward. So you can imagine that look!)
