ACA Viper Phase 1's PSN launch was mysteriously bungled, with a fix reportedly pending. MUNEN. Searching on PC or PS5 will net you only... Farming Simulator 17 DLC: The Challenger MT700E Field Viper Tractor.



YABAIII! That is not Viper Phase 1, despite the charming Raidenesque scene and Red / Blue ships! Don't be fooled. VP1 is currently only searchable via the PS4's in-console store. NB after purchasing there, you can download it from the web-based Game Library page to your PS5. (thanks BrianC!)

But also! If your PSN Friend has VP1 in their library, you can access its game page via PS5, and buy it there. (thanks Pointman!)

Viper Phase 1 shows up on PS5 if someone else in your friend’s list also has the game. The store page for it is there and it can be bought, it just doesn’t show up in the store for some reason.

And there's more!

Actually, you don't need to have the PSN user as your friend-- they only need to own the game and play it once.

Found a user on the PSN Profiles website that owned the game. Searched for them on PS5, checked their games list, sorted by recently played, found the game, selected "View Game," brought me to the store, bought it there, no problem.

So now there are TWO ways to acquire ACA VP1 via your PS5. Be a good fren this Christmas season! Ho ho ho etc

Crazy to me that it's even possible for it to be so borked in the first place, given the levels of automation built into these kinds of systems.
I guess you've still got to account for human error somewhere along the chain ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have been trying to get Viper Phase 1 to my PS5 since its bungled "launch" and wasnt able to.
