Hey, has anyone tried the Project Egg Shooting Games?
Project Egg has started the Egg Console Series where they port a bunch of old Japanese Computer Games to the Nintendo Switch. They were kind enough to sell them in the Foreign Nintendo Eshop (America).

Nothing you couldn't emulate in your own computer, but just wondering if anyone has tried them.
They have UNDEADLINE, STAR TRADER, SILPHEED, and a couple other ones.
Anyone know how they play, especially if you played the games on the original hardware?
(Oh wow, they have a emulation marketplace for windows, that's cute...)

Re: EGG Console (Nintendo Switch) - Japanese Computer Games
I was interested in the Egg Console stuff when I saw they were porting over Ys games. But I lost interest once I realized these were the japanese roms with no translation, essentially. The action games and shmups are probably easier to play in pure japanese though... But I've heard the PC-88 versions of some games are still not great.
Posting here because I'm also interested in hearing what people think of the games. The price is right IF the games are fully playable and fun without english. I mentioned the Ys games-I wouldn't play an Ys game without translated text at the very least.

Re: EGG Console (Nintendo Switch) - Japanese Computer Games
There are a LOT of games available on the Japanese PC service. It will be interesting to see how quickly and in what order they come to Switch. I'd be in on a lot of the Konami MSX games for example.
Undeadline is arguably the most interesting of the early Switch releases, but the mainline service has not only this MSX version but also the X68000 and Mega Drive.
