Need helping creating presets on my Extron DXP HDMI Switch

I'm trying to create presets for each of my 8 consoles for my Extron DXP 8x8 HDMI Switch so I don't have to press as many buttons when starting a new gaming session. I'm following Dochartaigh's tutorial and guide here, but not having any success.

1. I press the "Esc" button to clear all selections as instructed in the manual.
1. I hold down the "Preset" button for 2 seconds until it blinks like instructed in the manual, and then I press Input 1 and hit the blinking "Enter" button to save Input 1 as a preset.
2. When pressing the "Preset" button again, Input 1 lights up as red (doesn't that mean audio only? how to I assign video to it so it'll turn amber?), but that's it. No video/audio from my Nintendo 64 when on even though it works with non-preset configuration. Before you ask, all my consoles output working video and audio when not using presets.

How do I assign outputs to each preset's inputs?

Else get a serial adapter and run the software.
