The retro game collective disbanded in 2011 has finally returned!

Friends and countrymen of the Shmups Forum. I have arrived with major news, so gather around if you shall.

Yes, we are back after many years. Very few of you probably remember International Citizens Proxidian, or ICP for short, which was a retro game collective formed in 2007 and running up to 2011.

Our works included a series of games inspired by SEGA, all of which have been lost or difficult to archive. However, the collective was disbanded in 2011 due to partnership disagreements, leading our new group reformed in 2024 to be slightly different.

So,why is this even relevant to this Forum?
Good question. The original founder of ICP, now known as Proxima64 on Twitter, has brought back some of the old collaborators to ensure that our high quality games will continue as soon as we get back to it. Alas, we only have a few members. So, I am inviting members of the Shmups Forum to join the International Citizens Proxidian!

Wait, how do I even join and what's the catch?

That's the best part, there is no catch! You simply must ask yourself, is the ICP right for me? Look into Proxima64's artwork and music, all of which he has posted on Twitter, and decide for yourself if you are a fan of our creative efforts. As of right now, while the group is reforming, he is the only one churning out content so the ICP has a base to start the real production of retro gaming material once we are restored.

Here are only a few of HUNDREDS of examples of brother Proxima64's creations. And, superior to his art skills is his music skills, he will make the soundtrack for all games produced by the ICP.

So, I say to you, my fellow retro gamers of the Shmups Forum, join us! We will take over the entire gaming market this time and ensure retro style lives on for milleniums. Thank you.
