Trigger Warning: Poster Enjoys Making Copius Reference To Stiffened Cocks

Post by BIL »

Disclaimer, fucking hammered and aggressively ignoring waifu and kids w/ regrettably untutored dog humping leg. Yeah, I thought that article was grasping, too. What it described to me was raunch; unprofessional and ungentlemanly, at worst. I don't speak Chinese so for all I know, the art dude's "Yeah ok, just focus on the top half while you jack it" re: snake woman might've been a nice burn. I'm not gonna send the guys to the wall with Roman Polanski and Jimmy Page and your local FGM advocates over it, at any rate. I scream-laughed at the harrowing reveal of the... the... the "FATTIES SHOULD FUCK OFF" poster. Image

They should fuck off! And by that I mean they should reattain their natural fighting/fucking physique. It's a happier and more productive life! Image You know my little brother's dick went soft when he was all of thirty? Image Fat little twat wasn't getting any exercise, between his highfalootin' desk job (I helped him get ) and too much partying (that's on him, I get a spare moment, I'm WILDIN ON TEH FARM  ). Me and big bro (board-certified sadistic fitness pimp) got his rod back with a little light cardio and resistance work! #nobromo. Boxing, landscaping, fishing with a sensibly hearty diet, shit works amazingly. :o Now he's blasting ropes once more! Two kids and counting! Don't be a Fat Guy Across America (RIP), dead at 49 with an undoubtedly soft dick! Image

The harrowing reveal of a producer using a p-p-p-pregnancy metaphor, likewise. I like that he acknowledged the oft-overlooked role of male fertility. You have to take active care of your junk m8s, past thirty you can't blag it on youth alone. Their logo is indeed a turbocharged spermatozoon. Handy adaptation! Bit gross admittedly, as were the other posters; but again, asking for a mea culpa at the altar of DEI, I dunno. I think a tacit dialling in of their frathouse tomfoolery on public-facing media is plenty.

Also, I thought this was an illustrative contradiction, or at least an amusing one:

Image

^ I'm impressed a Chinese guy is talking about PWNing Government (and their Building) so casually!
It doesn’t help that, until very recently, almost all video games launching in China’s walled-off market were marketed explicitly toward men, effectively increasing perceptions that women did not belong in the space. Elva Tan, a professional in the Chinese games industry, tells us that this situation has improved in recent years, kicked off in no small part by a surge of Chinese otome games - story-based, romance-driven games initially popularized in Japan - that started with Mr Love: Queen’s Choice in 2017.

“Before the emergence of female-oriented games, all female players could only play games that were mainly focused on men,” Tan says. “After the emergence of female-oriented games, not only girls who play games discovered that there are games specially made for women, but more girls also discovered that games can also be fun. This expands the gaming population and brings further prosperity to the gaming market.”
Wait what! That's some SEXXXXISMS right thurr, surely! But men and women do in fact like different things, as Ms. Tan's handy anecdote reflects. Find a nice weebette and marry her, you too will find fruity josei nonsense harshing your burning shonen mellow. ;3

Saying all this while being KINDA FUCKIN GAY BRO. And by that, I mean a sensitive artistic little pussy. ;w; Image It usually gets beaten out of kids where I'm from - acting white lmao - and I'm sure in regrettably many other places. (fortunately I actually am white, and my family is rich, and if you put a hand on the likes of us, you'd draw back a mangled nub as the cops beat your skull in, later murdering your entire family in a "drugs tipoff gone tragically wrong" if they objected! 3;)

So if Chineybro here merely wants freedom to make his badass action games, while haughtily flipping off me and my fellow flute-playing scholars - and even the ladies who appreciate us Image - from his cubicle; more power to him, tbh. More for me, muhfucka. Image I mean to each his own lmao! You know I only ever fight Artorias with my right arm, ever since I realised exactly how he got his own shield arm so cruelly shattered? I bawled like a fuckin lil bitch at
ELDEN RING DLC SPOILER
the reveal of Shaman Village in the Elden Ring DLC, too, specifically the Golden Braid's description. 3; "She never returned home, and no-one is left to say" is an exceptionally resonant bit of prose for those of us who sought glory in faraway lands! Or anyone who had to leave people behind for any reason, I'm sure.
EDIT: ^^^ SPOILER NOW TAGGED SORRY M8S >w<
EDIT2: FUCK OK I GOT IT THIS TIME NIGHT NIGHT M8s 3;

Don't even get me started on Mary's reading of the letter in SH2's ending. I bite my cheek until I taste blood when replaying for company ERREH TYME. Image (a game with a keen eye for man's carnal nature, and the sometimes difficult intertwining of with nobler aspirations, now I think about it)

On the evidence proffered, these don't appear to be misogynists, per se. At least it doesn't describe them hurting or even disliking women. They appear to be sophomorically irrepressible gooners who could maybe wind it in a little. I don't know what Miyazaki-san thinks of his teeming harem of lovely barefoot lassies, and I thank him for it. I have a pretty good idea, but between grown men with universally shared appreciations, there's no need to say; truly a master of ellipsis.

Also like fuck am I playing the monkey man game. Nothing to do with coomy posts. Just I already feel like I fucked my own mouth putting ~1500hrs on Froms over the last year. An impressive feat of gymnasticism, cruelly precluded by stultifyingly average endowment. 3; Great at the time, but the "wait fuck NAWWWW" clarity is not to be downplayed!

Astro Bot looks like nice clean fun, though it hurts a little to see him rocking the Yharnam Hunter set when the OG wearers have been gone so long.

Still waiting to see with Space Marine II; I've been watching JayTB play through, and it seems solid; more mechanically refined than the first game, with some interesting mission select bits that give it a 'campaign' vibe. Promising, but it pays to be cautious when a subseries revives after such an extended hiatus.

Speaking of, I see MS fina-fucking-ly put out a trailer for Crystal Dynamics' Perfect Dark reboot. Though much like the rest of the showcase it featured in, I don't feel like I can trust that shit as far as I can throw it.
Seems like we might be looking at a Deus Ex-ish im-sim; guns, gadgets, options, and parkour bits. All very polished, but it's not Perfect Dark as we know it, Jim. Nary a snifter of old-school straferunning auto-aim in the stealth-centric preview.

Any vibe check on Metal Gear Solid Triangle? Looks pretty, and the VA's good, but they missed one ultra-critical small detail: The grimace on Snake's face when he's facing down the Ocelot unit. That bared teeth, ultra tension, survival instincts screaming expression that hammers home the one man versus crack team tone of the scene. PATCH IT IN.

I know exactly the snarl of cornered valour you mean, MIRIN countless times over the past 20yrs; quoth Terry Bogard, that is what makes a legend. 3; That and a million other inflections great and small...

As with the upcoming SH2 Remake, while I'm not entirely as inimical as I'd have been in my youthful anger (read: BURN THEM ALL :O), that's the kinda near-inevitable oversight that makes just me wanna replay the originals.

IGN and PC Gamer basically set to invent "controversy" over the game/studio and then threw a fit because no one cared.
in the case of Wukong they are not invented, those comments were on X/Twitter and Reddit, i myself read them right there.
I've heard they were mistranslated.

Yeah, the progression from RE2 We Do It (still not perfect, but arguably still the top example if we discount REmake) to the fine-in-its-own-right-but-slightly-outta-touch standard is starting to become more evident.

Lucky for me, I haven't actually played any SH directly, so the original quality is still waiting for a foggy, rainy day!

Don't get me wrong, if they did say this, I don't care. However, I am curious if it's true or not.

You know, I changed the title of this thread, and discussed all the games I played this year. Then I hit the stupid button on the side of my mouse and it went to the page before.
All of it gone. I guess it wasn't meant to be. :(

Implicit Mouse 4 / 5 is a war crime, at this point. My browser has a prominent option to disable it - unlike most - but it's been busted for months and does nothing.

Don't settle - turn that shit off in the driver and live a happier life :)

Hey, nice!

I played Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart (it's still new in my mind!) a few weeks back, but lost the accompanying heaving write-up to a forced reboot.

Short version: It's excellent. Almost total recovery from the dark age of Into The Bad Jokes and Pixar Film Game (feat. RC1 remake, we guess...) Laugh a minute, truckloads of love for the games that built its house, including a totally unexpected wink at the crap PS3 ports' broken helmet that was perpetually a couple sizes too big for Ratchet's head. Almost had me expecting an X-ray gag poking fun at the horrifying cutscene face-clipping that happens in Deadlocked

Likely the best combat in the series too; adding an iframe dodge let them really crank up enemy aggressiveness, and the jet boots are super sick for quickly moving around the battlefield. Absolutely dripping with high-level tech to root out and abuse. New characters were alright, Rivet (and her lovable Planet Canada pals, eh!) probably the highlight for being a well-executed Ratchet mirror, though Clank is sadly still backlined to (mercifully skippable on replay) chosen-one puzzle interstitials.

Definitely worth picking up, and great to see the series' technical acumen land on PC where it can really flex.

Everything I ever play is at least a few years old. Only exception this year has been Shadow of the Ninja - I can't wait when it comes to Tengo releases.

Mario Wonder? As has been mentioned a million times before, it's chock full of cool quirky ideas, has tons of levels, and plays very well. Still, I'd rather play Mario 3 for the millionth time, modern gaming is just not for me...

Mario Wonder does look pretty imaginative. However, Nintendo seems to have forgotten to add any kind of difficulty in their games, lately.
I'm guessing that's the case here.

As for SMB 3... I prefer World. The eternal debate.

Agree. SMB3 is a league of its own. I enjoyed my time with Mario Wonder well enough I guess. But it feels like a game so focused on silly gimmicks that they forgot about actually making it a game. It feels like you're playing ahead just to see the next thing it comes up with, rather than participating actively.
Ie. it's a game that plays itself, rather than a game you play. I don't think the problem is difficulty as much as it's player engagement. It's the fine difference between Mario Easy and Kirby Easy.

I loved both New Super Mario Bros. Wii and U, and this game, which is definitely a direct sequel to that sub-series, is a massive step down despite the obviously increased effort and budget put into it.

I am playing Silent Hill 2 remake on PS5. The original is one of my all-time favourites so I was cautiously hopeful - and surprised when the remake rised above all my expectations.

My only ”complaint” is that its too DAMN scary, my nerves cant take it. Fucking mannequins now flee from your flashlight, just to hide somewhere to jump on you later.

Otherworld is now more present in bluecreek apartments and is suitably foul. 3D audio in headsets is causing me immense stress, especially when I hear whispering in the corner of my ear.

I recommend it, though I cant play it more than an hour per session, and with lights on.

In terms of scariness I thought the apartments were "quite scary", Brookhaven was only tense, and I thought the following dungeons were damn scary. You'll have a good time when you get there if the apartments are scaring you that much. :)

I played way more recent games this year than is typical for me, and there's still more coming up with Sonic x Shadow. So far Dragon's Dogma II has my vote for GOTY, but I've only played ten hours or so of it so who knows what I'll think of it in a few weeks.

I don't know if I would consider them "new". They came out recently, but are they really new? Not really.
But I think they fit what I was asking in my first post.

Uh… let’s see.

Games released this year:
Devil Blade Reboot
Tekken 8
Another Crab’s Treasure
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC

I think that’s it. Next week I’ll play Dragon Age Veilguard.

Besides Ninja of the Ninja Reborn the hottest thing I've played recently is Vengeance Hunters. Beat 'em up made for Neo Geo hardware but released on Steam as well. Extremely good stuff.

Definitely thought I replied.

Devil Blade and Shadow of the Ninja were highlights for me. Rogue Flight's demo impressed and I'll be buying that sometime soon.
Zelda was surprisingly good. Enjoyed Mario Party with my friends. And while I won't own it for a loooong time (no PS5 and don't want one), Astro Bot was decent from the few hours I gave it at my friend's.

As my first PS5 game, what do I prioritize? FF XVI (Complete Edition) or Stellar Blade?

I know exactly what kind of game they are, I even tried the demo of FFXVI, and I don't know if I should start with one or the other, I wouldn't want Stellar Blade to make the combat of FF look boring, or the story of FF to make Stellar Blade look like a plotless game

Also they are the only two interesting games (for me) on sale now, Ratchet & Clank//Demon's Souls//Returnal are at full price and honestly I won't buy them at full price now.

Marathon, Death Stranding 2 and GOY aren't out yet...and neither is Silksong, and I doubt it's worth picking up Elden Ring for a second time.

Out of the games you mentioned (and excluding DeS as I've only played the original), Returnal is by far my favorite. Much better combat than Stellar Blade, more replayable, more interesting environments and story. Though I second Steven's recommendation and would additionally recommend Astro Bot as a first full game; it's damn-near a perfect platformer in my opinion.
