Night Striker and Operation Wolf seem confirmed as supporting the stick. Interestingly, there was also an Egret II Mini firmware update released on August 25, which features a few game updates as well as "compatibility with USB Cyber Stick". So, question... anyone know if that compatibility is just in advance of the Vol.2 games, or does it also support anything from the Egret II Mini's base game list or Vol.1??

That's a little annoying. They really couldn't stick the new firmware on the Vol.2 SD card too? Not the end of the world or anything, but would have been nice to streamline the process and not require a download, separate SD card, and manual update...

I guess now there's no reason for me to wait though, time to jump through some hoops and update mine soon.

Interestingly, this volume doesn't seem to suffer from the same location restriction that the first volume did - it currently ships to the US.

Is the package set on Amazon or anywhere else still showing as available to folks in Europe or Asia?
It now shows as "Currently Unavailable" when I view the page.

that's indeed currently sold out. The first round of Cyber Sticks (released with the MD2 Mini) wasn't this massive either, but it did now and then show up as available before the launch, so I would just check back on a week to see if they maybe increased their allocation.

The "GamesRocket" branch of ININ company seem to have exclusive distribution rights for the Egret II Mini and peripherals in North America. I was worried they might be locking down on this set too.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that Amazon will get a restock or allocation like you suggest!
There'll always be eBay after the fact as well. The first Super Deluxe package or whatever it was called with all the peripherals ended up being cheaper from eBay (brand new and shipped FedEx) than what it initially retailed for, iirc.

They also announced an official "Combining Kit" consisting of a pedestal base and stool set (of course, a month after I bought a 3D printed one lol), and there are a couple bundles. One with a USB Cyber-stick (with orange buttons) and the vol.3 card - similar to the Cyberstick Vol.2 bundle they did last year. And another with the Combining Kit and Vol.3 with a special box for a very small discount over purchasing individually.

I do kinda like these December shooter releases, the Christmas season has been shooter season for most of the past decade and I'm here for it. Just ordered the Egret v3 card and Amazon says it should arrive December 22-25

The selection is very "meh" in my book... Except Galactic Storm, very old early 80's games and not one single game I was expecting. I'll wait for VOL.4

Very excited for this. Even if some (OK, it looks like "most") are the B-sides, there's a lot to love here. Like Metal Isaac's suspiciously familiar title screen tune

I'm somewhat cool on the game list too, but there are some intriguing ones there.

Galactic Storm is my highlight, especially with the Cyber Stick (that I got last year and will love to get more stuff to play with it).
Aqua Jack looks good, and I'm very unfamiliar with it. Excited to check that out more.
Exermination is janky as hell, but I'm always down to play a few credits of a Commando-style scrolling shooter.
Top Landing will be fun to check out with the Cyber Stick, as an arcade flight sim (but would lose a lot of my interest with a standard stick/pad)

I just got an Aqua Jack PCB and while I can't play it (analog controls), it is freaking awesome via the videos I watched. Looking forward to an easy way to check it out until I rig some controls up.

Yes. In fact, it is the exact Cyber Stick that was initially designed and released for the MD/Genesis Mini 2

Late but just got a mini and combine kit. I wonder if the mini is done within Tatio...theres still quite a bit more they could essentially release not limited to a wheel and Chase HQ among many others. I wonder if Vol 3 will end up as the final card. Hope not...sad list to go out on.
