Final Mission Remake - PC

FInal Mission Remake is a 2021 Unity remake of the original 1990 Famicom 8-bit classic. This is a free fan project developed by my friend and game developer LKK GAME. He is also the developer of GanaBlade and the newly released G-Warrior on Steam.

Some key features:

- 16:9
- 120 FPS
- remastered/remixed BGM
- remappable controls
- 3 selectable difficulties
- 3 secret characters

Just figured I'd share this little gem with everyone else in the Western audience as its typically only been available for download from Chinese hosting.

Just gave this a try - never played the NES original, so thanks for the opportunity to see if the scat- er, scuttlebutt about the game holds up.

LKK also has a new Steam shmup in the works that should be out sometime next year. It's going to have a polarity system somewhat similar to Ikaruga. I've seen some alpha footage and it looks pretty awesome so far!

Welcome!

For anyone cutious the secret characters in Final Mission Remake can be selected by pressing different directional keys while starting the game from the main menu. I believe it's up, down, or right for each of the characters.

Also, there is a bonus stage that can be played in the campaign by not destroying the turrets on one of the bosses. Either stage 3 or 4? Can't remember precisely without replaying.
