Yeah same here! I only just read it's intended to be a spiritual sequel! I am playing it right now and it is very impressive!

Did they lift the horse sequence out of Shinobi III?

Not really a fan of the re-use of assets from some other games (like Revenge of Shinobi), it takes away from the game's own personality. That said, it looks like it'd be pretty fun to play. I'll check it out.
