Modded Xbox 360 component cables that works on OG Xbox

I’ve heard it’s possible to mod the Xbox 360 component cables to work on the original Xbox. Anyone tried it? How is the image quality?
As you probably know the Xbox component cables are expensive and more difficult to find these days while there are plenty of Xbox 360 component cables and these are also cheap.
Is there any reliable seller that sell these modded cables?

Yeah, I've done this mod myself. I followed a guide (I believe it was this one but it was a while ago so not sure).

I was previously using a cheap eBay aftermarket cable, which had a ton of interference. This one is a huge step up. I am not 100% happy with the image quality still, but I have heard that Xbox component output just isn't all that great so considering an HDMI mod.
