I saw one on YJ, but forgot what it went for. If I'm not mistaken, it's a doujinshi. Take that w/ a shaker of salt though.

The auction title says "book/guide," so it might be a player's guide type thing, at least that's what it seems to suggest...

no, there was an official guide, which this isn't. and i haven't seenit on the silvertranslations site either. so perhaps GP is right, and it's some sort of fan artwork... bit difficult to tell from that photo, but it doesn't look that chunky, and i'm still confused by him stating it has the original diskette with it...!? there was a conquest manual released for windows, but again, this is not it....

Right in silvertranslations...
Radiant Silvergun CD ROM "Conquest Manual Link". It's a strategy guide which contains documents called 'No Refuge' and 'Be Praying' in PDF format. Supplied by Video Game Materials.....however it sold out years ago.
This IS one of the two. The other being 'No Refuge'.
Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the gun.

Ah - this topic comes at excellent timing! I was thinking to buy something from this seller (sflaoaknyc) - has anyone else dealt with it and can share his feedback?

I ask because I sent him two message via ebay and he never replied. (and his feedback page has a share of negatives)

As far as I would be concerned that's enough reason right there not to buy from him. Ebay is just too damn dodgy these days.

Yeah, I'd stay away from that seller. People left neg feedback for many of his guidebooks saying they were 'missing pages'. I doubt you'd want to spend that much for a RSG book only to see it had a few pages ripped out. :?

Btw, is it really worth that much? The CD-r has stupid PDFs as well...
And he's selling a factory sealed jap FFVII for nearly $300 - that's even more
Alas, Ikaruga is going...

Undesired, unwanted them...
What makes them go?

I actually purchased a new copy of GigaWing 2 from this seller back in January. It was a fast, easy transaction and I received my game rather quickly.

But most of what he sells is absurdly overpriced.

A factory sealed US FFVII goes for around that price, actually. Anybody got one kicking around? Make a quick buck off stupid people.

i don't really believe in any sort of "market value" to a product. an item is only worth what a person is willing to pay for it.

personally, while i would like to collect as much silvergun paraphenalia as possible, i wouldn't spend $250 on it, or whatever it is he's asking for it.

he is clearly a con-man.

How can he be a con-man if "something is worth what someone will pay for it"? If someone has a rare item and wants a pretty penny for it, it's there right to post it. Factory Sealed FFVII first print? I wouldn't pay shit for it, but I've seen them clear 30,000 a couple of times.
