However, the set as a whole is definitely worth it for all the stuff you get. I just really REALLY wish I could read and understand japanese. I'd like to read the little book it came with. And I wish I knew what those messages said on the right side of the screen during the replays.
Regarding the excitement factor in these replays. I fell asleep during the Raiden run, and this was at 7pm.
Not to knock the set. I think it's money well spent seeing apart from Raiden DX, the other replays might hard to come by otherwise. The soundtracks included are also well done and has good variety of previously hard to locate material.
Now that is interesting, thanks - I would never had thought a Japanese company would have used non-NTSC technology. (Is this common practice or are Seibu fairly unique in this?) That would certainly explain the judders then, they probably just don't have a quite perfect system for converting the frame rate back to a consistently smooth 60 Hz.

A lot of arcade games have non-standard framerates, which makes everything from straight ports to video captures difficult to get accurately.
Mine was shipped this morning via EMS... tick tock tick tock,
I cannot fuggin wait!!
Now to those who have this in their grubby hands, Does the soundtrack include the Boss music from raiden II. The specific track is the one on the PS Raiden Project port, BUT NOT the arrange from said game.
"Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?"
Soooo.... What do I have ti do to get the Raiden 2 boss music? All I want is that 1 hot track. Boot up PS1 Raiden Project and play the first boss... OMG the piano and everything else is the hotness...
You know this topic is 5 years old, right? And you're asking a question that could better be solved with an entirely new thread, or maybe... I dunno... YouTube or Google?
