Batrider replays
Does anyone know any Batrider replays? Super-Play.co.uk doesn`t have any, and since we don`t have a comprehensive and big strategy guide like Garegga, I`d really like to see how to play this exciting game in a good way, so that I really feel welcome at violent city

I have a small selection up for download, check the second page, somewhere in the middle. Unfortunately your resident Raizing players don't have much time to finish the guides they're still working on yet (and I still have a skeleton Ibara guide to prepare as well...) so a Batrider ST guide is a fair bit away at the moment.
There's plenty of scoring tips going on in the above linked strategy discussion thread though, so feel free to read through.

Yeah, I do that too, and most of the time when I managed a particularly nasty pattern I start thinking "Wait, I didn`t die?" and THEN I die one second after. I used to think this "robotic" movement comes from playing with a stick (I myself am playing with a SNES pad plugged into a smartjoy plugged into my PC), but then I realized it`s just pure efficiency - and that I used to "wiggle" around too much. When I try to minimalize my movement and get rid of that silly tapping instead of going to one spot more precisely, my survival gets MUCH better.

Yes, this is a common problem, friend...
But, if you want to mess with .inp mame files, you shoul'd go to www.mog-rep.net and look out for the Batrider inp replays... there's a lot of interesting stuff.
The first plays are about boss rush, but there are also advanced courses cleared...
Unfortunately, I didn't manage to make them work (DEL knows well what I'm talking about), but if you do you'll have a lot of interesting stuff to see

Well, after figuring out a lot of stuff myself with MAME (simply running it for the first time is not THAT easy if you`re using the command line version and you are used to easy-peasy emus like SNES9x or something - and I am not gonna tell you how long I though half of my rom files were broken until I found out you need Neogeo or ST-V bios files
) I guess I will devote some time trying those replays out - is this kinda like a replay in Perfect Cherry Blossom or Warning Forever were you start the program and the recorded joystick input gets played back? This must be a whole lot more intense then just watching badly compressed video clips.
