nesrgb graphic glitch

Post by include13 »

hi

I installed nesrgb av famicom
But there's a problem.
Occurs randomly at power on
If you turn it off and on, it will be restored again.
If it doesn't show up when you turn it on, there's no problem.

I've tried many things, but I can't fix it.
Is there any way to fix it?

My English is not very good, so please understand.

Happens to all Famicom games you have besides final fantasy 3.
I looked at the page, but there was no corresponding error.

if you take a look at the pallette ram metastability bug on Tim's page, the screen shot taken there of. Castlevania is actually from my console. I was having issues with mine also but fixed it with a capacitor on the ppu. what revision nesrgb do you have?

looks like maybe you have clock hardware bug?

I have nesrgb 41

In my case, once it turns on without errors, there is no problem even if you play the game for a long time without any problems.
Can I see the capacitor installation picture of the solution you solved?
I'm not sure what the solution to the Clock hardware bug is.

Let's try the solution for the Palette RAM metastability firmware bug.

Thank you.

tim said "failing to synchronize to the PPU data" and he doesn't know why.
It is said that this happens sometimes.
