Sony PVM 2950 Sync issue (with Mister)

Post by Costra »

Hello. Im having this weird sync issue with my mister and my Sony PVM 2950. have 2 mister fpga from Antonio Villena.
Some months a go everything was working properly with both of my mister in all of my CRT, including my 2950. This past weekend i swapped the monitor of one of my candy cabs but before i made that i tried to hook up the mister but it was not syncing. After i swapper the monitor for the new one, noone of my misters are able to sync. My raspberry is syncing properly everywhere. What is really weird is that if itake those mister (both) to my other candy cab, they are both syncing properly. Today i tried to hook them up to my Sony PVM 2950 and i had the same issue, no sync with both. The RGB-Pi is able to sync no problem. I tried to change the ini for another one quite a few times with no luck, i also tried an update_all with same result. Tried with different cables. No luck. And im quite lost because those mister worked properly on my 2950 months a go.
Maybe something like a Sync Strike will make them to sync? Im quite lost and dot know what to do.

Maybe you've re-set your MiSTer config to output RGBHV instead of composite sync...? Do you have a VGA to 5BNC cable to test and see if a Vsync signal fixes the issue? I don't have a MiSTer or 2950 so I have no idea, all I know is that the 2950 has RGBHV in addition to RGBS
