Reading that sure felt like clearing two loops of Dodonpachi.
This is why I miss physical magazines, as they came with restrictions on page size that kept such bloated articles in check. I love the passion, but you could cut 1000 words out of that and lose nothing.

I skimmed it after the rambling intro and the bizarre tangent about horse racing is what stuck out. It's a blog though innit, I'm sure some people enjoy the passion but I find the total lack of structure makes it hard to engage with

The author doesn't mention the little factoid of the USA region Donpachi conversion pcb kit came with a full-sized backlit marquee and was distributed sold by Atlus USA arcade subsidiary back in 1995. Of course, the International Version variant of Dodonpachi pcb kit was all-English text but it, sadly, was never sold/distributed for the American arcades by Atlus USA in the 1997-1998 timeline (they could've easily done so).
