Hello,
I have sony wega sw-292M80 CRT and it is fantastic.
However, i noticed the image slightly rotated counter clock-wise which is not so noticeable but still want to fix it if i can.
I tried service mode, did some adjustments but this particular issue was not solved.
I guess it requires me to open the CRT and adjust the yoke or rings? however, is touching them safe (not gonna touch the tube)?
is it easy enough to try?
thanks

What happens if you spin the set clockwise whilst its on?

Re: Sony CRT WEGA SW-292M80 screen a bit rotated
All my 27/29" Sony's of this era had a menu item to rotate/tilt (FS120, FV300, FV310, maybe FS100 too - I forget) - and if my memory serves it wasn't even in the service menu, just the regular menu somewhere. This one doesn't have that?
If it doesn't, then you'll have to manually rotate the yoke. If it's just a little bit off it's usually pretty easy to nudge it - videos on YouTube can help.
EDIT: looks like the manual says tilt/rotation is enabled on your model as well unless I'm reading something wrong:

i have done the adjustments to my skill. better than before but not perfect. still a bit of bend in bottom left but overall not effective.
