Only my Sega CD picks up interference from some cheap power cable extensions I got from AliExpress for the MLIG thing of powering stuff off of a PS2 Slim adapter.

Obviously I need to get some better quality cables that don't pick up interference, but can anyone say why the Sega CD is the only console using this setup that's pumping out EMI? It doesn't even happen when I use a separate PSU for the Genesis and stick with the extension cables going to the CD- just when they're powered together + an extension. Anything inherent to it or that I should look into fixing? I have the big metal connecting plate with prongs for the bottom of the Genesis 2, but neither of the other 2 small metal shield pieces (that most people seem to say aren't necessary).
