Built a NESessity 1.5 with a NESRGB40 board and get no video when powered on.
New to the form and looking for hardware advice. I found a Reddit thread with the exact same issue (Titled: "NESessity 1.5 board No Video" on /r/consolerepair) as me with no resolution so I thought I would try here. I recently assembled a NESessity 1.5 with an NESRGB 4.0 and get no video at all when powering it on. The microphone LED lights up and reacts to sound, but the NESRGB board does not light up any LED's. It does flash every LED faintly when first powering on, but then nothing. I have tested more than one CPU and PPU from a working console that I can swap back and forth. I don't think it's the PPU or CPU since both work in the test NES, but I'm not sure how to confirm whether it's working OK in the NESessity or not.
There is a self-test on the NESRGB40 board, but I'm not sure how that works and have not found anything on it. I have closed J1, J3, J5, J6, and J10. Jumpers are set based on the guide from https://www.tindie.com/products/low_bud ... s-console/
Any advice on where to start troubleshooting would be super helpful. I'm lost at where to start at this point.
