In Japan, what games to buy?

To answer the initial question, i doubt there is really much (if anything) you can't just order online at home. Especially things that are actually worthwhile. So, nothing.

The whole fun of traveling is stumbling upon stuff you might not otherwise get, though, or could never find online for cheap. I doubt I'd have ever gotten a Danganronpa and Shikigami artbook for 200Y online.

Thats true, however in this case his son would be picking up stuff for him, he wasn't going himself so....

I loved it in Japan in 2018. I am revisiting in 2023 and I will be buying on condition purposes not price. Its nice to have multiple copies available and see it in person.

I've saved half a million yen or thereabouts so far. still a long way to go.
