I was referred to this forum by a friend and I was hoping to find some help.
I've been working on a project for over a month..converting an arcade1up to a jamma cab. After many trials and errors, I feel I am close to completion. I want this cab to specifically play Mortal Kombat 3 as I have the board. For the past week, I had an issue where the video would freeze due to the monitor not playing 53hz which I found a solution to today. Now here is the other I am having...The picture is dim. I adjust many settings on the gonbes and on the lcd converter connected to the BOE monitor of my arcade1up and I have had no luck. There was a monitor I wanted to buy at academodup, but I don't want to risk spending extra money on something that may or may not solve my issue. I was hoping to fix this issue with what I have now, and budget wise, I have spent a lot so far on this project. Would anyone be able to give me some kind of advice to fix this issue? I would like to specifiy this only happens when I use the older Mortal Kombat boards that support 53hz. Other boards I have and a neo geo mv1b work fine at default. The Tekken boards though, the colors look a little too bright and washed out, but I wanted to tackle the mortal kombat issue first if anyone can give me some advice.

Re: Gonbes 8200 help
Maybe try this project if your board can be used.

The cfw project is intended for use with consoles.
@kinooshi823 have you adjusted the color pots? I don't see that specifically mentioned above.
