Victory Road and SAR: Search and Rescue with a proper roto-stick plz.
Those are actually shmups/STGs, they're just push-scrolling ones like OutZone or Fixeight. We don't appear to have high score threads for them yet though, so I guess they're just not quite as well known.
There's enough discussion of shmups in this thread that I don't think it's going wildly off-topic to remember the plenty of non-shmup arcade games that have yet to get a port.
I don't think FixEight ever got a home release, unless it got one on like one of those weird things like iiRcade like Out Zone apparently did and nobody noticed it. FixEight is definitely not Out Zone levels of awesome, but it's still a good game.

So many of Sega's great games only existed as proper ports on the 3DS, it's sad to think that they won't ever get a proper rerelease in the future (Turbo Outrun, Power Drift, Alien Syndrome).
It's a sin Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder is completely ignored by Sega. Having it only be available on a shitty Arcade 1up cab is a travesty.
Revenge of Death Adder is on the original Astro City Mini. That one is mostly okay, I guess, unlike the Astro City Mini V, but the game selection is a bit on the questionable side.
Actually, the Astro City Mini also has one of my favourite Sega arcade games, Quartet (well, Quartet 2 in this case), which I think only has an arcade-perfect release on the PS2. The music in that game is awesome. Am I the only person who really likes that game? I don't think many people know it exists, which makes me sad.
I like Quartet too, probably due to having memories of the Sega Master system that a childhood friend had. And I love that PS2 Sega Ages 2500 release with SDI and Quartet (you can actually plug any USB mouse into the PS2 and play SDI with a mouse!) Nichibutsu's Cosmo Police Galivan (on Arcade Archives) gave me some similar vibes as Quartet when I first discovered that via the AA series... but without Quartet's namesake 4P simultaneous option.
And yeah, Revenge of Death Adder was the #1 reason I bought the original Astro City Mini. It's a shame that game never got a console port. For other non-STGs (which I hadn't even thought about and there must be just tons of good ones)... one that comes to mind is that I'd LOVE to see Hamster do an AA release of Data East's The Cliffhanger: Edward Randy. Blows my mind that this year we finally got a Cannon Dancer/Osman port, so I guess all bets are off and we really could see almost anything these days.

The USA region Daioh jamma pcb does support the uber-cool 6-button mode via a certain jumper with a 2-pin header (buttons 4, 5 & 6 are wired to a kick harness that plugs directly to the Daioh board itself whereas buttons 1, 2 & 3 are routed through the 56-pin jamma harness itself). Of course, you can play the original JPN region variant with it's two button control scheme if so desired on a USA region Daioh pcb setup (giving the arcade operator a slick "2 stg games on 1 board" deal to choose from without any eprom swapping necessary -- it's all there from the "get-go"). How cool is that?
Upon clearing the 1st loop of USA region Daioh pcb will result in playing the 2nd loop where the enemy bullets move faster than your fightercraft does (thus making it a much harder playthrough and truly ends at the completion of the 2nd loop indeed). Playing the 2nd loop of 6-button enabled Daioh will make the arcade gamer swear up a storm due to it's unforgiving & brutal gameplay -- that's a given in this day of age.
Arcade distributor American Sammy handled the sales & distribution of Daioh jamma conversion kits (complete with a full-sized back-lit arcade marquee) stateside while Athena Co. Ltd. handled sales & distribution likewise in Japan. The arcade game of Shienryu/Gekioh comes to mind as well.

Are you forgetting the PS2 version? Id read the 3DS version was based on the updated PS2 version.
It's even compatible with the Hori flight sticks so we have full arcade simulated control.
