Memory Lane I do remember seeing this on TV sometime in late 1989.
Hot tip: If you haven't checked this out via the Capcom Stadium collection, do so. As it's finally a home version with twin-stick control which makes a ton of difference.

I didn't know that, thank you, that'd make it much more playable! I had it for my Speccy BITD on some US Gold compilation or other and loved it and I think I had it for the Mega Drive for a bit too (I maybe rented it for a weekend). I can't remember ever playing it in an arcade though.
There was a PS2 Capcom collection which also featured twin-stick controls for it IIRC, though obviously the more recent collection will appeal to more folks.
Well that's a revelation, what a difference it makes to the game Moot point, cos I sold it, but do you know if it had twin stick support on the XBLA version? I never really dug deep enough into it when I had my 360
Never even knew it was on the 360 (though according to Wikipedia the same PS2 collection was on the original XBox, and did support twin stick controls), so unfortunately I'm no help there, heh.
