Post by Trevor spencer »

Hi

Im looking to build a GroovyMame computer (Win10) and want all the Cave shooters including SDOJ , Do i need to install Mame 0.239 to get this working ? or can i have the latest build with a little bit of fiddling about ?

If you're building it yourself all you have to do is un-comment out the places that refer to SDOJ and AK on the game list, and the cv1k core. Can use as current a version as you'd like.

You have to undo the changes to cv1k.cpp and mame.lst that were made in this commit: https://github.com/mamedev/mame/commit/ ... 8169e67503

cv1k.cpp is now found in src/mame/misc instead of src/mame/drivers like it was at the point of the commit.

The lines are still in the source files, you just need to un-comment them and build Mame to get them working.
