Sorry if I’ve asked this in the wrong section or without any other required steps, new to the board. I’ve been looking for a suitable CRT, interested in 1080i for wiiu and also interested in RGB for older consoles. Unfortunately I’m finding it hard to find a TV which has a known working RGB modable board so instead I thought maybe this LG Lafinion 82W could be compatible. After studying the service manual (painfully on my struggling old iPhone haha) I found the chip “CXA2150AQ” which accepts input of which I assume is the input switched source (AV1-5) and the RGB from an OSD on pin 4,5,6.
Have I correctly identified the jungle chip AND does it appear possible that this would be muxable? I’m not asking for a full circuit diagram to make the mod or anything
more just a sniff test to if people think this CRT might be RGB modable so that I can pick it up and start revisiting my high school math and physics. Once that’s done I’ll come knocking again before I get the iron out and ruin the TV from my rustiness!Cheers!
