Hello all,
I'm looking to purchase an Exa Arcadia System and rig it to work as a home console. By this, I mean that you could plug any usb arcade stick/controller and hdmi monitor into the system. For sound, I'm assuming this would be wired separately.
I think you could simply use a DVI-D to HDMI cable to get video, and this board here might solve the issue of controls: https://www.candycabclub.com/product/mp07-iona . Not sure how sound would be wired at all.
Does anyone have any recommendations for certain hardware that would make this possible?

Exa Arcadia has a HDMI port that carries audio, as long as nothing is plugged into the stereo jacks, so you can just use the HDMI out.
For USB arcade sticks/controllers, just get a IONA JVS (https://toyoshim.github.io/iona-us/en) or clone.
That plugs into the Exa for power + JVS, and allows plugging in USB controls.
That's really all you need.
