I have a CDr of it, it is alright. Certainly not worth the loads of cash it goes for.

I'm not that good at shooters, though I do love playing them,. That said, Ironclad is kind of easy. The bullet patterns are, for the most part, slow moving and easy to dodge. The thing is, I think the powers that be knew this game was too easy, so there are branching paths you can take to make the game longer.

The game has gorgeous graphics and really got all the power out of the NGCD one could get. I mean, it's not a bad game, it's just not one of my favorites, and for the price there is no way it is worth it. I don't do the CDr thing, but it was the only way I could get my hands on it, and I am sad to say, yes, I actually paid $5 for it.

I have to agree with Brian.

The game is decent... but not worth the US $250+ price it usually sells for. I also find that the perspective can lead to some "cheap-shots".

I guess I really need to hurry up and track down those last 2 Neo shmups I'm missing so I can make this video... this is the second time within a week that we've had folks asking about the more obscure shmups on SNK hardware.

Hopefully, now the MVS proto has finally been found and dumped, a batch of custom MVS/AES carts will get made. I'd love this on MVS, as it's the only Neo shmup I can't currently play. Wouldn't pay loads for a copy though.

I located one of these for a certain shmups ex-moderator before leaving Japan. It was .... damn, a lot. Somewhere in the 24,000 yen area I think.
