As the title states, is it possible to modify a Sony Trinitron KV27-S20 to accept s-video or RGB input? How can I tell? One reddit post I found mentioned that it wasn't possible because it is a digital signal vs. analog jungle chip(??)
I believe it is ic351 jungle chip and I see the service manual shows some models with s-video and others without. My box has ony RF and one composite input.
It may not be worthwhile but it was a free TV, plan on using it exclusively for N64 and SNES gaming.
I am a complete noob to this btw, if tht wasn't painfully obvious.

You can RGB mod the 27S20 - the ones that can't be modded are the 20S20, 20M20, and 13M20. The larger size ones use a different jungle chip.
S-Video and component are possible with this TV as well.
