I knew he had to be a member.
His vids are pretty good. I mean, I've never seen such exhaustive work on Youtube, on this particular genre.
I just watched his Untold History of Technosoft, and it was very interesting.

SJ does fine work. It took me a minute to differentiate his genuine enthusiasm from the What's Up Guys It's Your Boy Like And Subscribe fare that's so prevalent on YouTube, but he's the real deal.
Heck, marathoning his channel a few times is what pushed me to get back into the genre and ultimately sign up here. While not as technical as other YT shmuppers, his How To Get Good videos helped solidify years of intuitive knowledge into tangible strategies and mindset.
Though his docureview stuff is the real big-ticket - very well produced. Really looking forward to that Toaplan documentary he's involved with.

Shmupjunkie is a dork but I do enjoy all his videos.
Especially his videos about ‘unknown’ titles.
I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about games but he’s recommended some bangers that I’ve never heard of.
