My Rant on these Middle aged artists on HGTV.

Primarily concerning the show "That's Clever"

I must make it clear that i hate most folk on HGTV. Let us begin with the standard person on this crafts show my mom likes. First off they take junk and glue it together until if is a bigger ball of junk. Normally this would be good for disposal reasons, but their intention is clearly to keep it as a rare treasure. Another minor gripe i have is the loose usage of the work studio. Hell they say "welcome to my studio!" when really it's just some dump of a living/bed room that hasn't seen a vacuum for ages. Hell next thing i know the microwave area will be it's own food studio. I find these folk disgusting and filthy, lost in whimsy while their houses are dumps. Which brings me to the issue of personal hygiene, these women have hair like the bottom of a bird's nest, loose and stringy, probably has the same amount of fecal matter as a bird's nest too. Most can be found kissing their ugly dogs on the lips because a sane man would not marry a person that looks like they just rolled out of bed. I also think most of the crafts they make are simply hideous. They make lovely sock dolls with elongated squished heads and lovely homemade jewelry that is dark purple and red and has pieces of plastic/glass that weighs as much as a newborn baby. They wear earthen color cloths that are either frumpy or so tight you think they are hiding a small pig in each pant leg. Not only that but whenever they put a hole in something while doing art, the camera director must instruct them to look through it into the camera and grin like some retarded 3 year old.

I'm sorry If I've offended anyone but these folks really are annoying me. IN not dissing artists but I am calling for some serous makeovers/house cleanings. If you and your house is going to be on national TV you should clean yourself and your house. Quit trying to get points for having some po-dunk studio, novbody cares.

yep Home And Garden Television, my dear mother watches it every day and i'm just sick of the slobs on the show "That's Clever". I doubt many ofyou will know it.

We have crap TV over here in germany too, but I don`t watch much TV anymore - I stopped it as they first stopped airing Beavis and Butthead (at unhealty times) and then this videogame show GigaTV - not that the games were that interesting, but the guys in that show were priceless. This one guy had a fly-eating plant and one day he feeded it with spraycan cheese. This show came every day for two hours and man, I was hooked. The best shows were always the one they review crap games. Actually watching a guy playing through "Miami Vice" is both painful and highly entertaining.

Most of the time I'm programming games, my mom just has the TV set to come on at 10 am and the show happens to be on. I'm far to lazy to go three roms back and turn it off so i just have to listen to it. If you wanna see my WIP game check the developement section. (Just an engine for now).

I probably sound all adult and controled when I tell people that I really don't watch tv. If they only knew the retarded amounts of time I spend on the internet, heh.

The only reason I keep my TV because it's required to play vidoegames on.

The Internet is a much better time waster.

=1 to the not watching tv. On that note... daytime talk shows are terrible too... at least on hgtv, they don't make you into a man-bashing, blame everyone else but yourself, bitch... god, I hate oprah.
